Julie Chen Moonves hosts the sensational summer reality series Big Brother, which returned for the 22nd season on the 5th of August at CBS.Chen Moonves was one the first hosts on the Emmy-nominated Daytime talk program The Talk, serving as host and moderator from the year 2010 until 2018. Then it was when she started writing that her passion for writing emerged. In addition, she won an Emmy for hosting and outstanding entertainment talk show. The show was hosted by her co-hosts CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 until 2010. She anchors The Early Show as well as CBS Morning News. The CBS Television Network broadcasted a half-hour of news at the beginning of the day. Chen Moonves also covered the war in Iraq, among other major reports, for The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks, she traveled to Cairo for a fascinating and eye-opening interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show which featured celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was an editor at WDTN TV Dayton in Dayton the state of Ohio (1995-1997). She was a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the affiliate news service of the network as well as a desk assistant in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991) as she completed her senior year at the University of Southern California. Her first broadcasting job as a Desk Assistant on ABC News' late-night show Nightline With Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel in the production of the award-winning Columbia du-Pont special Anatomy of a Riot which focussed on those who were involved in the Los Angeles riots of '92.
